Pop up businesses, whether it be home restaurants, supper clubs, events, retail shops and all manner of undiscovered goods have been around since the 70s. They can pop up from just a few hours or for months and months. They can be small boutique home restaurant experiences to crowd events and experiences.

PopUpUp has been created to help small temporary businesses and events be marketed more easily. Our platform allows visitors to search by category, additional tags and by location; not only by City or Postcode, but for people on the go using GeoLocation.

We are also here to help pop ups improve their marketing. With a team of designers at PopUpUp, we can supply design agency quality marketing at rates that are exclusive to pop ups listed on our site; whether this is for simple business cards or flyers, or quill event flags or bespoke CMS websites.

Essentially, we are here to get your PopUp… Up!

 

A “pop-up” is a short-term, temporary venue or event that is “here today, gone tomorrow”. Pop-up retail is classed as temporary use of physical space to create a long term, lasting impression with potential customers. A pop-up can also allow you to communicate your brand’s promise to your customers through the use of a unique and engaging physical environment while creating an immersive shopping experience.

PopUpUp is all about helping temporary businesses and events be found. The majority of pop ups are only around for a short space of time or, alternatively, not running on a daily basis.

If, for example, you are a large business and are test launching a product for a day in a public space, we consider you to be a pop up. If you are a restaurant on wheels but operate most days of the week in the same location, you are a pop up. If you are a chef or a pub that has a short term restaurant created specifically for a temporary chef or cuisine, you can be a pop up. If you have created an event for a yoga class in a city park every week, we consider you a pop up… there are very few exceptions but it needs to be considered as temporary.

We do not consider a pop up to be a business with a permanent premises, advertising their primary business function. We need to ensure that pop ups listed on PopUpUp.com are valid and therefore, any business not considered to be a pop up, will be able to be removed from the site.

We do no accept any marketing on our site that is considered irresponsible or illegal and any listing doing so will be immediately removed.

It’s FREE!

Yes, that’s right, you can add as many pop up listings as you wish for absolutely free. The only time when PopUpUp will cost anything is when you buy marketing bits from our shop or upgrade your pop up to a ‘Featured Listing’. Our ‘Featured Listing’ has lots of benefits, including being shown at the top of the categories the pop up is listed in, UNLIMITED gallery and video embed for the 7 days. Your pop up can also be featured on the home page, including in our PrimeSpot. Prices for featured listings are subject to vary.

So, each listing is listed on PopUpUp for 30 days – it can however be renewed. We do this for a number of reasons…

Most importantly, it’s to keep all of our visitors finding pop ups that are currently up and running, or very shortly ready to be discovered! Is your pop up open longer? Don’t worry, within your listing, you will be notified by email 5 days before the listing is due to expire so you can quickly log on, and renew for another 30 days.

Our ‘Featured Listing’ has lots of benefits, including being shown at the top of the categories the pop up is listed in, UNLIMITED gallery and video embed for the 7 days. A featured listing also has it’s own featured badge helping it to stand out from the crowd and will be promoted via our social media channels. Featured pop ups can also be featured on the home page, including in our PrimeSpot. Prices for featured listings are subject to vary.

We can understand why – it’s a great place to be! To be on PrimeSpot, we want to get to know you and your business a bit more. PrimeSpot is the ultimate place to be advertising your pop up on PopUpUp.com. We will work with you on creating a full featured article that will be displayed on our blog, automatically pushed through to our social media channels, and sit in prime position for a minimum of 24 hours on the home page.

To access the online shop you need to be registered and logged in to PopUpUp. Once logged in, a new link will appear in the menu at the top of the page that will allow you to access the store.

Of course we can! We have a range of suppliers that we use that provide everything for your marketing needs. We can even build you custom websites if you need.

Simple! In the menu, select ‘Register / Log in’ and you will be taken to the page. All you need to do is enter your email and password and you’re in.

No problem! If you’ve forgotten your password, it’s unlikely you are logged in… Go to ‘Register / Log in’ and click ‘Forgot Password’. You will be guided through the steps to reset your password.

If you want to reset your password, simply go to ‘My Accounts’ and select ‘Account Details’ and enter your new details.

Easy peasy! After you’ve logged in, go to ‘My Account’ and you can update your information under ‘Addresses’ or ‘Account Details’.
